Can anyone recommend me a cheapish pair of headphones for my guitar amp? Maybe < 50 quid.

I use these with my amp.

They get rave reviews, and I can't fault them.

You can't go wrong with Sennheiser, especially for that price.

I will point out that the Sennheiser set are designed for listening to recorded music. They'll "colour the sound", in that they're set up to emphasise bass frequencies, for instance.

The set I linked to are studio monitor headphones - they're designed to be "flat", in that the idea is that they faithfully reproduce the sound of your amp (or whatever the source) without influencing it (adding bass or whatever). Recorded music will sound better through the Sennheiser set, but your guitar and amp will sound more like your guitar and amp through the Superlux set.

That said, for home use, it makes little odds, and the Sennheiser set will be more versatile.

They arrived. Dramatic and unsurprising less quality than my P7's but they'll do. Distinct lack of bass.
