Buying furniture from ikea

Am considering buying furniture from IKEA and am wondering can they be bought online and delivered to your home or do you have to buy them in person in Dublin. Also do they have be assembled if bought in store?
Ive set up a shopping list online and unfortunately I can't find the checkout button
Also where can I buy custom made curtains as the ones on idea are too long

You unfortunately have to make the trek out yourself, they do offer delivery though at an extra cost. If you have the item numbers you need you could try calling and asking can you pay over the phone.

If they dont do that have a look on adverts they have a load of people offering an ikea shopping service. Some of them will build the furniture for a charge too. I cant recommend as I've always just done it myself. I like putting flatpack together!

Their curtains are very long but they sell wundaweb too you can just cut them to slightly longer than your required length and iron it on to hem them. If you're handy with a sewing machine you could make matching cushions with the extra. I had so much extra I was able to make cushions and a small curtain for one of my windows.
