    Hi all,
I've been declaring a car odd the road for the past two years but I just checked there and road alised that its being taxed at the usual >999cc rate, instead of vintage tax (its pre 1980).

Who do I need to contact to get it sorted?

    Thanks

I had the same issue recently, but easy to solve. When you are ready to tax the car again, take the Tax Book to your local Council tax office, tell them you want to tax your car for the year, and want to change the taxation class to vintage. It appears they wont change it to vintage unless you are taxing it, at least Clare Co. Council would not.
