hi I'm hoping to fix some leaks in the roof of my shed. the shed is is roughly 30X10 ft with a slightly sloped galvanised roof rising from 7 to 10 ft would silicone along the leaks do the job, the worst leaks are where the sheets of steel overlap so i'm thinking some silicone would do the job

'Twill break your heart. Year after year doing it up. Take up the sheets and relay them properly with the correct overlap - you'll get all the info on youtube.

Thelastmohican is right. You can also get 'lap tape'. Its a roll thats like a bead of putty you put between overlaps to help seal.
