    Looking at getting a 152.. They're 45,400 list in Dennis Mahoney's.. How much of a straight sale discount do ye reckon I should be pushing for? The one I want is in stock..

    Offer 40k. See if you can meet somewhere in the middle.
    Don't tell them that's the one you want. Look at other cars and then walk over and blag your way into telling them you didn't want to spend even that much but it looks great. Haggle, walk out, tell him you will think about it etc etc

    Do your home work, maybe mention that you will visit <insert other Lexus dealer here> and see what's out there!!!

    I'd offer less than 40 to start with. They should have decent margin in them and there are always silly dealers out there.
    Not saying you'll get it for under 40, but I'd haggle hard.

    When I went back with my cash, it was gone.. Too long of a lead time with the spec I'm after, so holding out till January
