Getting a new kitchen fitted not really keen on IKEA's ones opinions on cash and carry, b&q or homebase do you need to get your own fitters for the latter two?
    Experience on the above appreciated

we just got a quote from rightprice kitchens, really good value, (3.5k with sink and extractor, no appliance basic work tops) some lovely contemporary kitchens designs, we will probably go with them.. worth a look. My brother got a b&q one last year, all in including a granite top and all appliances it came to 10k inframe doors, really lovely kitchen, lot of hassle with wrong bits coming, but they gave a huge discount (off the 10k!) for the inconvienience, cash and carry I just went too aswell, didnt get a quote as wasnt mad about their range, but my builder told me rightprice are same if not better quality but cheaper. I havent been to timbercraft yet, but plan too, some special offers complete kitchen wth appliances for aroun 5-6k.

from a previous thread in 2010 So the nationwide and Kilkenny ones are ok must have been one in Dublin too

"And you are correct! Its RIGHT Price Kitchens in Dublin that have closed, not RITE Price Kitchens Nationwide!"

    Popped down to Homebase yesterday

Designer guy has to do up my plans but approx (before sale)

Cream kitchen, handles, laminate countertop, remove and dispose of old kitchen and appliances, get it fitted, new fridge, dishwasher, new sink taps and extractor hood, two carosels, and maybe another pantry fitted 7k 362 x 336 m L shaped kitchen. It seems dear but extras are the installation and labour too cash and carry I think you have to remove old kitchen yourself and I dont want the hassle.

If you're in Dublin, try D1 Kitchens.
Really glad we went with them considering some of the horror stories on here.

And we visited lots of other suppliers prior to making the decision.

Any updated recommendations for a new, good value (i.e. good quality at a lowish price) kitchen in summer 2017? Some of the prices charged are incredible so I just want to narrow it down from the get-go. Is there any website where I can see a sample of the sort of kitchen available for particular prices?
