Does a house share on daft.ie to rent a room typically mean that you can use the living room or is it usually just the kitchen, bathroom.

Nearly all of the time you would have an equal share of any non bedroom areas. Living room, kitchen and bathrooms which arent an en suite are for everyone. I'm sure there are some exceptions but they would be rare.

Usually exclusive use of your room plus joint access to common areas.
