Hi, looking to build my first PC within the next month or so, haven't got much knowledge on what the best parts to buy are etc so looking to see if someone on here can help me out and pick the parts for me :p

    1. What is your budget? €1200

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Small bit of gaming, streaming from the PS4 to Twitch via Elgato capture card, video editing etc.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? Yes

5a. If yes, what size do you need? 20+

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Yes anything that is needed to stream/game etc

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Don't know much about this so no.

    8. How can you pay? Credit Card, PayPal etc.

    9. When are you purchasing? Within the next month.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? South Dublin

    Thanks in advance :-)

    Xeon 1231v3 €250
    ASRock Pro4 €80
    GTX 970 €350
    500w PSU €55
    Nanoxia DS3 €70
    Crucial BX100 250gb €85
    1tb HDD €50
    8gb RAM €50

Thanks for the quick reply, would the best website for these items be hardwareversand.de? Thanks.

Sorry yeah I meant to say that. Type the parts into geizhals.de to get them cheaper. Type them into geizhals and find the hardwareversand link through there.

    Gigabyte or MSI 970
    H97 ASRock Pro4
    Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM
BeQuiet PSU is what you want!

    PSU

    970

    Board

    Xeon

    RAM

    SSD

    Case

    HDD

    Monitor

Total is 1150 delivered or something. You can connect two monitors grand just make sure one has DisplayPort, DVI-I or DVI-D, as the 970 only has 1 HDMI port

Is this stuff legit or not totally kosher? I've heard rumours on other forums about a Reddit subforum selling knocked-off/cracked/illegal copies of Windows stuff.

I'd be worried because I'd like the option of upgrading to Windows 10 with the free upgrade, but if it's not the real deal, maybe that won't work?

They're Windows dev keys, bought in bulk from MS.

Not for use by us but treated as legit keys by MS. Mine is genuine according to their own checks. And they get the Win10 upgrade
