Just out of curiosity the recent roller coaster accident in alton Towers, would articles written by a lawyer talking about what and who might be effected from the from people actually injured and witnesses been entitled to compensation ,
This guy seems to be an ambulance chaser to me .
Would ethics come into play when writing and posting similar articles it's imo a advertisement for his services more than anything

    see below for the article

Apologies in advance if this isn't suitable for the forum.

He didn't write or post this article; he was interviewed for it.

He is not quoted as suggesting that anyone with a potential claim should use his firm, and what it said about him and his firm suggests that personal injuries litigation is not their main line of practice or expertise.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to see this as touting. If it is, then any report of any lawyer anywhere saying that some newsworthy event involves a breach of duty for which a remedy is likely to be available is touting.

The general tone of the article does strike me as a bit tasteless but, hey, it's the Daily Mirror. If "tasteless" bothers me, then I have no-one but myself to blame for reading it.

+1 His company's website (by omission) suggests that they are not interested in personal injury litigation ....
