I'd have though the segregated single lane on both north and south quays would have made more sense, but I like the idea of extending croppys acre down to the liffy bank to create a park to cycle/walk through. Hope it happens!

They'd want to sort Croppys Acre out as part of this. Its closed completely because of junkies at the moment. The last thing we want is for them to take over the nice riverside part of the upgraded park.

How would it be possible for the Luas to operate optimally with that amount of bus traffic forced onto it's tracks? DCC are screwing over both Luas and Bus passengers with this plan, for the sake of a few hundred cyclists. Bloody joke. Going to be great craic for all those buses turning onto the quays again at Church Street.

Yeah I've never been in the Croppy Acre nor have I ever seen anyone in it. A bit of a shame to have a green space just wasted like that.

They won't share the space. Buses will use a separate bus lane.

There is already a huge thread discussing this and shows the maps of the planned routes.
