Who barrelled through the red light at the junction of Roebuck Road/Clonskeagh Rd this morning.

So you all saw it was red and jumped it, fair enough. But did you not see the small child trying to cross from the left who was clearly too intimidated to cross on the green man because of the volume and speed of the RLJs ?

    Seriously, WTF ?

Do you post the same type of thread on the Motoring forum every time you see a car do it ?

I hate that junction, I have people constantly come through the red while I have a green on the T. The yellow box is constantly full and both cars and cyclists seem to treat the red light like a "warning: don't stop, what ever you do". The only reason cars don't look as bad is because the traffic is so heavy, all they can do is sit on the yellow box or the ped crossing.

I have called people out on it, and all I normally get is a "F off". i am not a physically stand offish type of person, but one of these days, I will just push one of them over as I overtake them later on.

I love how cyclists can't possibly take criticism of any sort.

"Cyclists" are plenty able to take criticism. But this is pointless. It would be like me having a go at you because some guy walked across the road in front of me this morning.

Unless the cyclists were all part of a single group out training, then this thread is more than a little pointless. I'm as liable/answerable for the behaviour of other cyclists as you are. That is to say, not answerable at all.

I might be wrong, but I doubt any of those people mentioned in the OP are any of us replying.

"Cyclists", are they like the Borg or something ?
