17 00 Wolves Seek the fair land. Multiple winner on the AW ar 6 and 7f. Latest win off 85 in Jan 2013. Down to a mark of 70. Has been thereabouts his last few runs and ran particularly well in last run over 7f when beaten just over 1L. I think the 8/1 on offer is more than reasonable 2 pts win.

8 20 Chelmsford City. Fire in babylon looks overpriced at 25s. Multiple winner on the AW over distances of 1m 3f to 1m 6f all off higher marks than the 45 he is currently on. Won 4 times last year. Looks a piss poor race bar the fav who could have the beating of these. With 10 runners at the price willing to chance 1 pt ew.

7:30pm Punchestown - De Name Escapes Me - Spectacular in winning a Clonmel bumper in February and really looked one to follow that day. I'm taking the 9/4.

Also Nicky Henderson brings one horse from Lambourn to Punchestown tonight. In the first race. Just pointing that out.

yeah he (French Opera) seems a decent price at 7/1, given he's gone close off 147 & 149 this season just gone.

4.10 fontwell STORM ALERT 8/1 looks to have a decent chance today. He last won over 23f last Feb of a mark of 110 in a class 4. Today he runs off 90 and also dropped into class 5 company and the extra couple of furlongs shouldnt pose too much of a problem. If the rain comes it will also increase his chances.

Nottingham 1450 By Rights 12/1 1 PT EW

Jim Crowley takes the ride and she looks exceptionally well handicapped off a mark of 72 on her win at Chester last year, as he beat three now 80 rated performers, pushing 90, and also a 78 rated horse. A good bet.

That fire in Babylon is well able to win that race and 25/1 is big. I knew a lad at his old yard and he has his own ideas. From the way he spoke he reckons the horse doesn't like company so hope for him to be dropped out the back and come late run or run wide all the way round, if he gets caught in the middle of the pack he could well down tools.
    Good luck

I haven't been backing anything and was tempted to have a punt in this boy but ill keep the powder dry and watch instead. Hopefully he's as good as he looked in his bumper. He has A turn of foot you don't see too often.

Agree with the lads as 7.30 Punchestown De Name Escapes Me 10/3 looked like a horse well worth following when winning a bumper on debut for Liz Lawlor and has since joined Noel Meade having been purchased by J P McManus. Drift is a bit disconcerting but I think this 5 year old could be a very useful animal and this looks a very winnable contest.

I have just backed it ew without the fav at 20s with 365. I think that is a serious price.

7/2 on the exchange. I have taken some of that. That is over priced.

Very big price now considering it was 15/8 in Powers for a while today.
