I am looking to build a new pc based around an FX-6300 and R9 280/280x. Would 700 cover the complete build including a monitor. What specs would you guys recommend?
    Thanks in advance!!

Yeah easily. Recommend an Intel build though.

Have you got the CPU already or something?

What'll be PC be used for

    80% gaming
    20% solidworks
I know intel has better performance but I don't think it is worth the investment seen as AMD'S value knocks it out of the park!

No it doesn't, not even close.

What Intel CPU would you suggest then?

    i3 4160, i5 4460 or Xeon 1231v3 depending on your budget.

Preferably the Xeon if you'll be using Solid works.

Forgot you posted a budget. Should be able to fit a Xeon in there, do you want a part list?

I doubt I'll get a complete build for under 700 with those

    Xeon 250
    280 200
    1tb HDD 55
    Board 70
    Zalman T4 20
    500w PSU 55
    8gb RAM 50

    Evens

Seems good but I might stick with amd for a better motherboard and case or psu
Also was kinda hoping for delivery aswell

Work away, 500w PSU by BeQuiet is that price, they don't come much better.

As for the rest, well its your money

I highly recommend an Intel CPU, far more efficient (less power usage) and far better per clock performance than AMD.

There are only a few AMD cpus even worth a glance at this point, perhaps their iGPU model but that's pretty much it really.

Motherboard quality will be the same.

Might be with hitting for an 8350 by the way
