(Slightly Convoluted) Emergency Tax Queries

I know these are common threads, but looking for specific clarification on the following:

    - I get paid per month. I started working in the middle of last month. Payday comes the first Friday of the month. So hence, paid this Friday.
    - I was only told this today, and only get a chance to send my p45 tomorrow. And been told wages have already been processed. However, I did register my employer number with Revenue as soon as I got a contract.
    - However, I will get emergency taxed in the absence of the p45 correct?
    - I'm due back tax for a brief employment (two days) prior to this current, full-time job. Do I get this tax back too when my p45 is registered with my current employer?

Thanks so much guys, convoluted as hell I know. :)

If you registered the employment with Revenue, a tax credit cert would have issued automatically to you new employer. This means you shouldn't be emergency taxed so long as your employer operates by it.

The next part is how will you be taxed, on the normal cumulative basis or on a week one basis. If Revenue were missing information on your previous employment at the time you called, it should have issued on a week one basis.

Finally if Revenue had your P45 on file when you called, the tax credit cert would have issued on the normal cumulative basis meaning any overpayment of tax from your previous employment should be refunded through your wages. Again this is dependent on your employer operating on the tax credit ert issued by Revenue.

However the only one who can tell you how you will be taxed on your upcoming pay is your payroll section.
