People Of Ireland, Put On Your Night Lights

Apologies to those expectantly waiting my normal Monday night inebriated thread, I was somewhat distracted by a real life event that will no doubt affect us all at some point.

As I was walking home from the pub I received a call from a fellow punter in the pub making his way home from the boozer, he was going past an octogenarian neighbour of our's house and he noticed the jeep was in the same spot since Sunday morning, but was too afraid to go near the house.Sp back to me house I goes, gets a ladder, and goes over to the neighbour's, and up to the bedroom window I goes. Luckily enough, he has a lamp on in the bedroom and I can see him tossing and turning and snoring away.

So my advice is this, keep a light on when you're sleeping, and the curtains open, you never know when someone will have to look in your bedroom window to see if you're living or dead.

    ... or dogging...

    Yeah. Luckily.
Yeah, better on the sex offenders register than sorry eh?

Seriously though, look in your neighbours folks. You never know when you'll be glad someone looked in on you.

Why does a sex offender have a register...?

Just being a good citizen is it Backwards Man? Is that the explanation we can all expect when we see you staring in our windows.
"Just making sure you were alive is all."

    I'm onto you.

There are two cars parked outside our house (urban area; no driveway luxuries) that have been there for about six months without moving. Hopefully their owners are tossing away somewhere as well. Maybe they found love with each other. Who knows.

People who have jeeps and consume the sauce alot should buy a bungalow.

Ah you're an oul cynic Tony.

Well, I'd even go up on that ladder to check on you. Yes, even you.

In the words of Mrs Avery

    Thank you for callin'
And, sir, won't you call back again?

If I saw a ladder being perched against my window and hear some one climbing it I would go to the window and open it and basically blast you with piss.

Hang on a minute. His jeep hadn't moved in a day? Sure that's not long. Why the worry?

Long enough if you're dying or dead.:(

Usually moves three or four times a day. On of the greatest and the worst things about living in the country, everybody around you knows every single move you ever make.:)

Country people watch out for one another, have to stick together.

City people should too, you never know when you'd be glad of a neighbour.
