Lenovo E525 bricked?

Did complete reformat on Lenovo e525 and used lenovos update tool to grab the drivers, one was a bios. on restart I only get the power light. Removed battery and AC as well as bios battery, held down power for seconds, put everything back - no joy. Tried a combination of holding down FN-R and FN B during start and nothing…
