Best Yoga for injury prevention while playing sport

I'm looking to take up yoga in an effort to reduce the amount of injuries I pick up while running and playing soccer. Any of the yoga studios that I've looked at have a number of different types: Hatha, Vinyasa, Flow Yoga, Bikram Yoga and even Pilates.

I'm just wondering which of these would be the most suitable for me?

I would try them all and see what you like the best ! I practice Ashtanga more or less daily, have done so for 15 years and I still love it.

Hatha tends to be done at a slow pace. Vinyasa, Flow and Bikram are generally done at a faster place in a heated room. The high temperature in Bikram classes can be unpleasant for some people.

Personally, I don't like practicing in a very warm environment as you can easily overstretch and hurt yourself if you are not careful. Also as it can to dehydrate your body if you have not taking sufficient fluids before hand.

Pilates I have no experience of.

I agree, try all ( or some) and see what suits you. Also don't give up after 1 class, try 5 classes in each type of Yoga. You'll know after 5 classes if it's for you.
