    Even in the morning / lunch / dinner what foods are more likely to make you tired ?

    Tired or sleepy? They're different things. Some food can maybe make you sleepy, but I think that's a psychological thing more than anything. If you're getting tired later in the day it's probably a sleep quality issue more than anything to do with diet. A sugary diet could screw with your energy levels too.

    I know its not a food but if I drink a cup of coffee it just makes me want to go asleep, I would love to know why it affects me like that.

    Dairy has an amino acid in it that makes you relaxed. There's also the tiny possibility that you're effected by consumed casomorphine which would mean you'd be getting a small dose of opiates every time you eat it.

    Also carbs.

    Carbs, so so so sleepy. I avoid them now as much as possible and I feel fantastic.

    Heavy food at lunchtime, like sausage or hamburger...usually meat combinet with cheese or cream. Tastes good but so difficult to digest....

    I'll second turkey, although I think tryptophan is what makes you tired, and turkey has that apparently
