This may well be another nail in the coffin of De Niro's reputation as a great actor. Looks godawful.

This really does get shameful before the end. The money must have been good!

It has 60% on RT. Surely the best a De Niro film has got since he entered his "just pay me enough and I'll star in anything" phase?

What is going on with the guy?? I watched Heist recently - it might be the worst film of all time... what is he doing?!

The man is in the restaurant business and they don't come cheap. It helps that the little playacting thing on the side pays for rainy days in the food trade.

I've been trying to remember a movie that got progressively worse then this and couldn't. It starts off with quite good premise but then becomes a movie about cliched feminism with De Niro becoming a BFF. I suppose you could compare the transformation from retired businesman to BFF to Pacino's Godfather transformation :D

It would have been fun if he had changed his meds and unleashed Jake LaMotta on the hipsters one sunny morning. Maybe a demonstration of how phone books are still useful tools for hitting people about the head.

Watched this on an aeroplane on Sunday... it was corny, cliched, cheesey, "zany" (in a bad way) with some bad casting thrown in... but, what can I say, I kinda enjoyed it :o
