    Ola,
Right so the time has come, and we are moving back to Ireland. We've gathered a lot over the past 5 years, but as most of the furniture we own is IKEA, we don't have an emotional attachment! Quotes from various companies (Shipley and McRory included) are ranging from 1000-1700!! Has anyone used any they can personally recommend? We are happy to use space on a bigger truck, but those quotes are also well over 1000 quid.

    Advice appreciated :)

Would probably be cheaper to rent your own van for a week and bring your stuff over and back.

Shipping that distance you'll only get mad qoutes.

Take what's quoted. You might as well get used to being ripped off now that you are returning
