Hi. I currently have an 07 Renault Grand Scenic 1.6 petrol that over the 7 years we have had it has been relatively trouble free but is now giving a bit of trouble so time to change it.

We were looking at the new shape Grand Scenic possibly 2012 or 2013 and diesel as our annual milage has increased. I really would appreciate people's experiences and opinions on themy as they do seem to be the best in terms of value and spec.

    Many thanks

They are a solid car, the 1.5dci is well proven and reliable. They can still throw up electrical problems nothing like as many as you car. Window regulators are no longer an issue. Privilege spec has all the toys, find one if you can. Nav versions (Tomtom) are quite common.

Car is quiet and comfortable on the move, a very good cruiser.

Quite a few came in from the UK so make sure service history and mileage add up. The 1.5dci has 24 month oil changes which is nuts. Servicing is reasonable if you have a good Indy, main dealer servicing is expensive.

A good car overall and a great people mover.

    Thanks for the feedback.

They look to be a lot better than the model have now. Good spec and build quality looks much improved.

Will take a couple for a test drive this weekend.
