Water pump question

Our water pump was working last week and I turned it on past Yesterday morning and nothing. I just get a small noise that sounds like it tries for a split second, the. Nothing else. Nothing has changed in terms of the house, no other work on-going which could account for it. Attached is a pic of the pump itself and the warning light labelled as failure is illuminated. Does anyone have/know of this pump and possibly what this could be coming from?

    Thanks

Could be one of a few things, but from what you describe I would think it could be that the capacitor needs replacing.

Looks to be tripped on water guard ,is that a reset button on the bottom left ?
What's the water source if its a shallow well the foot valve could be stuck or the strainer blocked.
Press the reset its it pumps for few seconds I'd check the other things.
