    Hey,

Looking for some advice, bought a house recently and the previous owners removed the fireplace leaving only the opening and the hearth. Bought a new fireplace this week, came with a new hearth (bigger), insert and mantle, insert and hearth are granite and mantle is sandstone I think ( that has small brackets either side). Thinking of getting an electric Fire to go in as well but wondering how difficult would it be to remove the old stuff and put in the new ones?

What tools and equipment would I need, i see you can get fire cement is this all I need?

    Thanks
