Mechanically it should be fine and its under warranty anyway, there's a price rise lately meaning with the wheels and tinted windows its a saving of about 6.5k on a new one and combis are harder to get than the hatches at the moment new. Will probably hold its value better too.

Just remember that the vRS sits on 18" alloy wheels and has a lowered/firmer sports suspension setup. Just make sure you will be comfortable with the harder ride from it.

There is 0% PCP finance to be got on on new ones at the minute which might be a consideration.

Good luck with the octavia, zarkov.Think itll be better bet than avensis.servicing very reasonable on them too.one quirk of the octavia is that fan can keep running when parked.this tends to happen when the car is stopped while in the process of dpf regeneration.will be less frequent if you give it good otorway blast every 2 weeks.
