Surely there is no doubt about Limato today at Haydock,as long as the ground dries up a touch by this afternoon.Factoring in any improvement from his run at Ascot he should put 1+ lengths on the field

Mattmu's recent 2nd was encouraging but yeah, Limato is going to have to be off his game to beat.

    Is Haydock far from Chester?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Ignore that, quick google, 40 mins. I saw George Baker was hopping over from Haydock to Chester for a couple of mounts but its only a spin down the road so maybe reading too much into it

Not too far from each other

Both are relatively short hop from Liverpool

4.55 Haydock, interesting outsider in Ishikawa, won off higher marks last year in better races then this one, hasn't done good so far in its last few runs and it might appreciate a bit of soft ground especially back at trip he won at 3 times. nice e/w price. good luck

Spiriting did me in a multiple last month for a fair wedge, beaten at 2/5. Goes at Newmarket in the next, fcuker owes me money. :pac:

20 45 Chepstow Mazij. Have backed this at 14.5/1 on the exchange. Has won over the distance off 65 a few years ago. Steadily coming down the weights and on its lowest mark in since winning in wolves off 50 early this year. Off 48 today and I think the 14s is value. Nothing hectic but I have had 1 pt win.

19 15 Chepstow. Liked the look of Vencentti when had a look at this last night was too short for me then. However 2 gambles in the race and he has drifted to 9/2 which I think is too big. More of a 3/1 shot in my book. 2 pts win
