Car Insurance - Named Driving Experience & NCB

My car insurance will be up for renewal soon. I'm driving 5 years, the first 4 as a named driver and last year I decided to take a policy out in my own name.

However, looking for a quote online I'm now putting down that I have 1 year NCB, and I don't get an option to put down the 4 years named driver experience. This is increasing my motor insurance to about €1,000 which is huge! I only paid €950 when I took out my first years insurance aged 17 with only a learners permit.

Do Insurance companies take into account the named driving experience as well as my 1 year NCB? Or would I be better off just putting down the 4 years named driving experience and not mentioning my 1 year NCB?

Think Axa takes both into consideration as well. And AIB car insurance which operates under Axa.
