Ok posting this one anonymously as its not my usual. Its no so much an issue (i hope!) As a what do you think. My hubby uses a porn site called mrskin but I noticed he started paying 15e a month on the visa bill for it recently so I was talking on another forum about it and they seemed to reckon that if he's paying that amount for it then hes more than likely using services on it such as live chat etc as videos and pics dont need an account? Its a womens forum soninwanted to get an unbiased opinion here, is that the case or is it normal to pay that for normal porn? I really dont think I would be ok with him using the live chat but dont want to jump to conclusions! Opinions please

It's very unusual to pay JUST for porn. Sure there's more porn available free online than I could watch in a lifetime.

Usually, if all videos are free on a site, the payment would be for access to live cam (basically women masturbating live on camera) or live chat.

Just google it, look at site and you'll see.
You pay to access the pics and vids, which is what your DH is doing.

Just fairly mild porn - different ball game to live chat IMO.

How about just asking him what this Mr Skin charge is on the visa bill? I have to say I'm a bit surprised that he'd willingly pay for pørn when there are loads of free sites out there. And that it'll show up on a visa bill that his wife is going to read. Then again different strokes for different folks. ..

Maybe he subscribed for the free period and forgot to cancel at the end of the 30 days or whatever it was? It says in the description above that payment starts automatically after the trial period.

OP I'm not sure why you don't just ask him? Do you think he would get embarrassed or lie or something? It is your business if its a joint visa account and even if its not you should be able to just ask him why he is paying. Do you have open conversations about this kind of thing, I believe you both should be able to talk about it if you know he uses it often and especially if he's now paying. Is he aware you know he uses it? Do you really think he would go on live chats with women, if you think so there obviously hasn't been clear boundaries established and trust issues then arise. If it were me I would go straight to him and ask!

I don't know if I would say that. There is lots of free porn on the internet for sure but pornography is a giant industry and all the free porn is a consequence of the fact people do pay for it to a degree. Every film and tv show is on the internet for free but people still subscribe to HBO.
