Considering a spray tan before my sun holiday . I am so white !! My thinking is that my colour will be coming up as the fan fades . Has anyone done this and did it work out ok ?

I did it before and it was a bit of a nightmare to be honest - the tan wore off really patchy as I was sweating it off. I think you'd be better using gradual tan to be honest as it would be less obvious if it got patchy and then bring an instant tan for going out at night to top up.

    Its a dilemma!!

I really want to try the new St. Tropez in shower stuff - that could be ideal actually. Not sure if its available in shops yet but its on boots online.

I nearly bought 3 bottles on 3for2 yesterday but copped onto myself at the last minute!

I always get a spray tan before holiday. Then i bring a bottle of cocoa brown with me to top up once midweek as it fades. The trick is to get a good tan that fades evenly without patches. I would go for a cocoa brown spray tan or vita liberata(light). Have found these the most natural colour. Prep your skin as much as possible in the weeks before so it takes the tan well and will last longer.

I got Vitae Liberate express tan done before my holiday 3 weeks ago and would get it again for my next holiday.

I topped it up with Dove Summer Body while I was over there. It gradually faded and there was no streaks.

I done this once and the tan faded badly, went patchy so I wouldn't do it again.
I now just stick to the Dove gradual tan - start off with the light one and then use the darker one whilst I'm away.

Thanks for the replies . I have decided to chance it , tan thurs night , holidays Fri . Beautician said she sells a tan extender which you apply like a moisturiser. The tan is Morrocan tan , so fingers crossed . Thanks again

I've had the Moroccan tan before and it turned out well. Enjoy your holiday!

Just make sure to do the piece between your buttock and top op your leg. See it so often on the beach, when a lovely lass turns over and there is a white moon where I just described! Dead giveaway!
Make sure you exfoliate and moisturise well in the days before you get the tan done, or when using the gradual ones.
