Cheapest first time driver car

    Hi guys, need some info on the cheapest car to get insured on with a provisional licence and this will be my first policy, never drove under anyone else's policy either, any ideas what car is the cheapest to get insured? Thanks for any answers in advance :)

    Also the budget is €800 max

    Depends on your price range I guess. All the ugly as sin ones would be cheapest!

    Value of the car can have very little bearing on the price of insuring it. An inexperienced or young driver can do as much damage or harm in an €800 car as a €80k one.

    Generally small engined cars like the Yaris or Micra tend to draw less higher premiums
