2006 Espace Sunroof Fault

    I have searched through the forum but haven't found similar. I have a 2006 Renault Grande Espace, it has the glass panoramic roof.

    At the moment the blind inside is half open, the sunroof is closed. This has been the way since I got it about a year ago.

    When I turn the dial / controller in the cabin nothing happens, there is no sound or action what so ever. I have tried the reset procedure with no success.

    I had assumed the motor was shot or something, however when you close the key card and long press on the button the roof opens some of the way and then goes to close again.

    Would I be right to be thinking that the controller or switch is faulty. Is there a way to test this before I go looking for a spare.

    Had anyone a guide to repairing or replacing it?

    Any other suggestions of what could be wrong?
