Our sister passed away in February and no will was made, our father was her next of kin with pensions and credit union. Our father is going into a nursing home as his "Cognitive behaviour" issues, what is procedure for us to deal with these institutions?

Go speak to a solicitor about extracting letters of administration which will allow somebody to distribute your sister's estate.
