    Hi
I'm looking for a few new pairs of runners, but I'm not sure what to get. I'm 19 BTW. Currently I wear sketchers and vans, I'm looking at the Nike website but I'm not sure which ones to get.
    Any recommendations would be great

Nike roche runs are very popular. I've a pair and they are the most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet. The light grey/white colour are really nice for summer. Can't post a link sorry but goggle will show ya

If you already wear vans then it is likely in my opinion that you will be more of an Adidas than Nike person. Are you male or female?
Go into a schu or jdsports if you are anywhere near them, don't buy trainers off the internet, you really need to see them and try them on

If you're coming from Vans and moving to Nikes, pick something from the SB range, Kostens, Janowski's or somethign like that. They are starting to hybrid from scateboard shoe to Roche and have some excellent shoes at the moment.

Nike Air Force One's. A little expensive but I swear by them :D.

I'd recommend going into somewhere like Elverys and getting a gait analysis if you plan on buying new runners to narrow down the selection. Nothing worse than spending nearly 100 euro on a nice looking pair of runners that are made to correct rolling your foot inwards if you roll outwards or are a neutral gait.

Most of the more popular ones are grand for all types, but some are "Neutral" or correct differing ways of rolling your feet so doing the gait analysis can really help if you're stumped by the choice.

Even if they're just for casual, everyday wear, as someone with dodgy ankles and knees, I really can't emphasise enough the difference of wearing a decent pair of runners :o

I have these and really like them. The brown suede looks a bit better to my eyes with jeans than stark white trainers.

I'd go for converse, I've always liked them. Sorry, I can't post a link, but if you google search converse, you'll see all the available models....

21 year old girl here, I bought the burgandy New Balance 420 last summer & love them! I've worn them so much and they still look good. So comfy yet still look really cool. I'd definitely recommend :)

Sorry to derail the thread but just wondering what the sizing of these is like? I'd love a pair but I'm too lazy to try on in a shop!

I think New Balance look really good and to be honest I'm kind of sick of seeing Nike Roshe everywhere!

Just your normal sizing, I'm a 6 & they were grand! Maybe a bit more narrow than others but no noticeable difference :)
