Have a pollen filter i need to replace in an 08 diesel mondeo. Can anyone tell me its location in the cabin of the vehicle. Different youtube videos show different locations. One shows down by the pedals and one shows in glovebox!

    Thanks in advance

They're usually easy to access, maybe have a look in both locations?

Fair play for using youtube, often a great source.
Did you check those locations show in the vids?

Both locations are not easily accessible so before i attempt to do it i was wondering if anyone here had replaced theirs

Dunno about the drivers footwell, but taking out a glove box is pretty straight forward

I did mine only a few weeks ago,its the exact same location as the mk2 focus.
    passenger footwell,You don't have to remove the glovebox(I didn't)
Lower the fuse box,I disconnected all the connectors for the fusebox & removed it altogether, made it much easier(make sure you have Radio Code Before)
then 3off 7mm bolts to remove filter plastic cover.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pn4u5KN7n3Q

    Thanks for that lads.
If i remove the clip for the passenger airbag will anything happen? If i just disconnect the fuse box will it have any effect on the car?

I had the car returned from an interim service last week and they said i need to replace the filter . Thing is now at the weekend i turned on the a/c in the ar and its not working. Its making a hissing sound. Thought it was working before dropping it in.
    Could they have damaged it?

    Thanks

    Thanks

When I Reconnected the Fuseboard the only thing I had to do was Enter the security code for the stereo.
There was a few small wires beside the Filter cover I just moved out of the way,not sure if they were for The Airbag(don't think they were Yellow??)
Not sure were this Clip is?.Sorry
