    I got polling clerk job few years ago and I didn't know anyone who could get me in. I just applied online and got a call asking me did I want the job.

    I applied by email to the city sheriff for Dublin.

    I've done counting for a few years did poll clerk last year and presiding officer this year.
    Each time its announced I apply by email.

    Name address telephone number pps and if you have a car.

    Its also all tazable

    I applied when this one was advertised. Got an autoreply, and not a word after that. Same for friends.

    Thanks for the responses. Where would you usually see it advertised. Is it just advertised in the paper? I tried googling it but couldnt find anything.

    I emailed my local returning officer (just googled that) and they sent me out forms to fill out, the form had sections for polling clerk, ballot counting etc.
