    Hi guys,
I know everybody hates when people want to do works and have no money..
but don't have much chance at the moment.

I am just moving to the "new" house and really I am on very tight budget.
The garden is in terrible conditions so need to be dug up and redone in some way.

As I have two dogs for me grass is out of question, I already tried and it's impossible to keep decent with the constant running of one of the dogs.

I got a quote of 65 per sqm for printed concrete work done and finished.
Garden is at least 100sqm.. and I really don't have 6500 euro :(

Got another cheap option of about 1100 to dig the garden, put concrete base and put on concrete, but all the people I ask to are absolutely against this idea saying I will regret it in the future.

Cannot put the gravel small stones as it will be a mess for the dogs.

Any idea? Is concrete that terrible option? Even some temporary idea for 1-2 years until I can get some sort of money somewhere to make it nicer in the future?

    Thanks!

100sqm is a good size - Build some sort of run for the dogs only - either put a few inches of concrete down or build it like a deck but put something cheap down like plywood or osb and paint it. Will be slippy though so leave it as an area for the dogs only - fence it off - you should be able to give them a decent bit of their own space.
Then dig the other side and lay grass or whatever it is you want to save from concrete or dogs.

If you have a go at doing it your self - ya might get it done for 4 or 5 hundred.

I know you're right but I got the house with big garden because I want the dogs to be able to enjoy it... more than myself :D
I might consider your idea though.. let's see..

reading online I've seen something like plastic flooring... mats.. and stuff like that..
what are people's opinion on that?

    thanks!

Get it done in concrete if you change your mind later just the grass in a roll and lay over the concrete
