    I thought it was illegal for the media be it television or social media to advertise/canvass on the day of a referendum/election?

    They arent the media. You can still had out leaflets but broadcasters cant show anything.

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me?
