Which would you prefer on a Bus Eireann coach and why

some bus eireann coaches do have these. the newer ones at least. or maybe its just power sockets.

i've only ever had that twice, all be its a good few years since i've taken the bus as for me train is easier.

On short journeys i could do without either. On longer journeys (an hour or more) definitely a toilet.

Not an option on the poll. Offer the driver a cigarette one of your own before the journey so that he won't grunt. Or tell driver he can switch of the smoking warning sign/buzzer and smoke along while driving.

Toilet but not even so I can piss. I choose it to deprive all those ****wits who play music out of their laptop without using headphones. I know if they have good battery life on their laptops it wont help but there ain't much you can do about someone who plans out their dickheadness.

What would I like to see on a Bus Eireann bus? How about they fucking arrive on time or actually arrive at all first? If you're living in the country and relying on their service, then you're facing buses that arrive sometimes 40 minutes late or not at all.

Dublin bus has improved a lot in the last few years in fairness ...when they are not on strike that is. My bus is quite good. Yeah inter county is ****e. I used to go to mullingar a fair bit a couple of years ago and I would get the train from Connolly rather than the bus. It would still take an age.

Go bus and Citylink have toilets on the buses and they dont stink up the place,

what does stink is the jax in athlone bus station which is your only option to do yer business between Galway-dublin with bus eireann.

Unless yer battery life is ****e id say you should be able to manage on them for most routes in ireland

A rollout of nationwide LEAP replacing that contrived BeClub setup would be appreciated. (required to reduce walk up prices by 13%, to be cheaper than citylink, for frequent but zero hour commuters. )

It's ridiculous that Bus Éireann don't have toilets on long haul buses. I have IBD and I actually can't use Bus Éireann for this reason. Not that I would want to. Citylink and GoBus are quicker and cheaper anyway.

Used the bus the other day, first time I noticed a socket on it!
delighted as fcuk, amount of times I catch that bus and notice my phone is dying =.=

I've never needed to go to the loo while on the bus. but most drivers will give peeps a few minutes at certain stops if you're desperate enough.

I'd go with the toilet I've been on so many bus eireann buses without them and while they can smell its worse without them, for example on one particular journey an old man, with an old mans bladder, peed all over himself, the floor, and his chair. Bus Eireann takes way to long to get were its supposed to go (over 6 hours) and an old man shouldn't have to lose his dignity because theres no toilet on buses from Dublin to Galway to Donegal (not sure about Cork).

theres a bus route that goes dublin to galway and on to Donegal? ouch!!!!!!! . or was this man going to dublin and then on to Donegal?

No that incident happened on a bus from Donegal to Galway, I was just listing the various long journeys I've taken on bus eireann that never have toilets even though they take forever to get somewhere
