Cannot get representation

Hi folks, so I have a case to bring against a public service in Ireland namely Courts Service. I wont be outlining the details of the case. Fault has been formally admitted in writing. I have, for the last two months, been sourcing for representation, however every time I get the same response "Conflict of interest" and/or "source outside of your county". I even followed the advice, but the answer is always the same. Justice is hard to get when the system cannot produce the representation to obtain it. Today was my 15th response back of the same nature. What do I do? Where do I go from here?

You could contact the Law Society and ask for a list of firms who carry out professional negligence work.

Even though this is not a professional negligence case, the firms on that list may be more amenable to acting for you.

It was my first port of call after the 8th refusal, that was a little under a month ago and I am still waiting to get a response.

Did you ask for a list of practitioners that carry out professional negligence work?

If not, that's what you should do.

Also, if the Law Society has not got back to you yet, you should follow up.

There is the other possibility that you don't really have a good case and no solicitor actually wants it.

I agree with that comment, personally the situation we were put in was a *ucking nightmare, but Law doesn't always recognize that. This I can accept. Yet, a couple of solicitors have told me to keep pressing as there is certainly a case to argue.
