Strava website loading weirdly

Most of the time when I load the Strava website to look at a cycle, something weird happens.

First of all, it takes ages to load. My internet is fine - I can use several other tabs at the same time no problem. Then it seems to load incompletely. There's no map, and the route looks like this:

It is supposed to look like this:

Clicking on a Segment looks all funny too. The Top 10 list overlaps with the route (which looks like the above image).

After reloading the page many times, it will eventually load properly, but it's annoying. It's happened with Chrome and Firefox. Has anyone found this? Any solution out there? I couldn't find anything online. Thanks

Looks like some parts of the webpage aren't loading/rendering - are you using NoScript or anything else that might be blocking some of the content used by the page? (If it's a work/college machine, any chance an anti-virus program is trying to pro-actively block cross-site scripting by looking for js files loaded from other domains or similar)

Thanks for the reply. It's a private computer, and I can't see anything in my Kapersky settings to suggest it might be doing anything like that (but I could be wrong!). I had been using Adblock, but I disabled it on strava.com when I first noticed the problem. That didn't seem to help, but maybe I might try to turn it off entirely and see if that helps. Thank you.

Sounds that might be it, strava uses a bunch of js from other sites and I suspect Adblock is taking exception to one or more of them - and because the script is being loaded from another site your setting isn't helping. If Adblock can tell you what's it blocking you may be able to just disable it for the sites strava draws from.

Ps as might be obvious my geeky tendencies stretch beyond bikes!

I have uninstalled the strava app from my phone due to a number of failures to record anything(have had issues in the past with some of the recordings, 70+kmph on the lower road in lucan) I have tried to reinstall & im waiting 4 days for a reply to my emails to tehm, maybe I'll just go to mapmyride!
