I have an early 6HP Johnson. It has a fuel mixture adjustment knob. It was running fine until I found the young fella turning it. Now it wont run and I have no idea how to reset it. I read I should turn until fully in then turn back 1 1/4 turns to start. Does anyone know if this is correct, or know what the procedure is?

Yep 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 from seated should get you started them once warmed up you can fine tune from there.
