Pick up a copy of the farmers weekly, full of farms large and small looking for harvest students. Try Velcourt farms website, they usually have vacancies all around the country and have decent accommodation too.

+1 for Farmers Weekly. Alot of the bigger farms will start advertising at easter and will have the jobs filled quickly, so my advise is dont hang about.

Do you want to work on a big farm with shiny gear but wont get to do much other than haul a trailer vs smaller farm with a bit of everything?
4xtrahands would be good place to look aswell but it is getting late but few jobs about with straw crews etc..
Personally would avoid velcourt like the bubonic plague as not great to work for but that was just my experience.
Generally the better places to work are filled quickly by word of mouth but that's not always fair to say
    Advice,
-Don't lie about your experience most folk are happy to show you something new
-Keep tractor clean and serviced if spare minute, always be at something give someone a hand not just stand with your hands in the pockets talking distracting them from work also or grease loader etc.
-Shopping on line for early morning delivery works well for lads who come here
-In reality you'll probably spend less than 50% of time on a tractor vs general work... could be worse know a few places that would just say no work today lads.
-Try not to ring the boss every 5 mins it's not til your at the other side of the fence you realise it's annoying as you've 50 others ringing also.
-Most combine drivers suffer from a rare form of altitiude sickness that swells their head 10 fold and generally turns them into a precious 'co ck' at some stage of the season. Just ignore them.

as mentioned before, probably the best place to start looking is the back of the farmers weekly but id imaging your too late for this year. Most farms start looking at Easter and the harvest is in full swing over there now.
