Can anyone tell me the rough cost of a commercial valuation as required by a bank. Thanks.

These are not as easily obtained nowadays due to the shortage of Liability Insurance required for valuers. Your bank may accept an auctioneers "desktop" valuation which has no legal standing.

Do you have a rough idea what they'd cost. I have heard of 2000 euro being quoted.

Cost will be dependent upon the type of valuation required and the size/value of the property. Ask for quotes, ask the bank who they use.
