Permanent Employees Benefits for Expats in Cork

    Hello everyone,

    Wondering if any expats on the forum can help me considering some options for a permanent position. I have couple of concerns to clear before making decision.

    1. Does someone know if tech companies in cork provides housing allowances as part of complete relocation expense package ?

    2. Secondly, is company car usually included with the job ?

    I'd say it depends on the job and on what you negotiate with them.

    Not Cork specific but company car & housing allowance (which may or may not also include for utilities etc.) would be fairly standard in most Expat contracts (the assumption being that you already incur said cost at home and hence should not have to pay it twice). After that point it's honestly down to what you've agreed with the company and company policies which are always going to have variations etc.
