Can you name this former pro-cyclist?

This is possibly the most random thread you ever see in the Cycling forum but here goes!

I'm attached a photo of a former pro-cyclist, just wondering does he look familiar to anyone on here that follows the sport? He's French and retired in the past few years. Not sure how successful he was but has raced in the Tour Du France.

Randomly I had a few pints with him on holidays. He was a gent of a man but I totally forget his name. Its an awful photo but any suggestions on who he is would be great.

    Cheers!

Wild guess...Richard Virenque. If its him he came second and third a few times but was doped out of his eyeballs.

Just looked at some recent photos of him and I'm sure its not him. Thanks for the guess though!

That would be Jean Marc Marino who retired just last year.
