Currently have an Audi A4 S line and want to change. We are considering buying a Q3. I am getting mixed reaction from friends etc. Some are saying we will find road handling difficult after years of driving an A4, also resale value isn't as good as A4 and fuel efficiency not as good. Feedback positive and negative would be appreciated. We are both state pensioners also in case that would have an impact .

Many softroaders/crossovers aren't as good a package on paper as their saloon cousins - yet they're immensely popular in real life.
My missuss father has a Tiguan which is pretty much the same thing and he loves it. It's very good on diesel.
I say test drive a q3, try and blag one for the weekend. Sure it won't be as sharp as the A4, but the high seating position and roof in the Q3, and its relative rarity might make more enjoyable to own.
