Hand brake issue

    Hello all,
    Mine is working but for any issue red light on the switch is intermitent and also appear messages on the dashboard and service and P indication,
    The problem is that I have in 3 weeks to pass the NCT so any help is welcome as I didnt find anyone,

    So handbrake is working but you get lights on the dash? If so I suggest get fault codes read by a mechanic.

    On a lot of cars they use the same lamp to indicate handbrake on as well as brake faults. It could be that your brake fluid is low - easy to check. It could also be that your brake pads are worn and in need of replacement.

    It was not working for near two weeks with all messages and lights warning on the dashboard and from one week ago it is working again but there is no way to reset all warnings,
    someone knows a not expensive garage with the tool necessary?
    all asked divert me to renault dealer...

    car was serviced one month ago,all the levels ok,no leaks and pads at 50%

    If you need a garage recommendations you need to tell us where you are.

    Also, what car model and year is it? Maybe someone will know the model enough to help you do it DIY.
