Alternator repair dublin

    Can anyone recommend a good place to get an alternator for my 2.8 trooper reconditioned in Dublin (new ones are 300e).

    If you are in any way handy, a DIY recon is quite simple.
    I bought a kit for an Avensis Diesel from an Ebay guy in Mayo slip ring, brushbox and bearings for around 20 euro.
    He has plenty of how-to videos on Youtube under goldlion_autoelectrics to show how to do the repair.
    Its very simple and if access to remove the alternator is easy you can save a lot of dough.
