Be careful with Just Eat, the shipping for the Chinese five minutes walk from me says 1.50 when you put in your order. Jumps to 2.50 when you go to pay.

Contacted them to tell them and they were useless. If I ring the Chinese it only costs 1.50 so unless I have a coupon I have to pay to use JustEAT.

The takeaway will thank you for ringing, since just eat take a whopping 12% fee.

This is why some places will increase the delivery charge, or prices in general. I think its against the rules to charge more than the instore menu but I have seen it done. If they are not making their money back in that way I would worry about getting smaller portions -as the takeaways method of reclaiming some of that cost.

In other threads people reported getting stuff delayed and I think the the takeaway owner even saying they put just-eat customers down the list of priorities.

Only used once. You can sign up for a new account with a different email address though, that's how I used the €5 voucher multiple times!

Just eat take only 5% off the pub I work in. We use deliveroo as well. They take 15% but thats a different thread
