Field im spreading for silage is low in potash, going to put out 2 bags urea and 1.5 murate potash/acre.

any problems if applying these together in spinner.

    Thanks.

the chances of mixing them evenly are slim. spread one then the other would be my view

will be keeping close runs and fill it every second bag so will be mixed going in hopefully!

more conserned about and potential chemical interactions (if any) that may reduce their growing capabilities.

Yea but you want to put out 2 bags of urea and 1.5 potash. You can't do that if you lob them into spinner together.
    Spread separate

you'll end up doing the same number of fills anyways

Have done it together for years, 4 bags urea to 3 bags of potash, start with 1 bag urea, then 1 potash, finish with urea. How big is your spreader OP? If you are very fussy leave half a bag in the bottom of the spreader between fills so it's already mixed at the bottom.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
