People say Blues Brothers 2000 was a terrible film, but I maintain that this song is incredible.

BB King taught me a lot about playing blues guitar when I was younger. It's a sad day for music. He was an absolute legend. RIP :(

Saw him play twice in Dublin, a genuine music legend. RIP BB King and we'll never hear Lucille play again. :(

    What sad news.
I had the greatest of pleasure to see the great legend up close and live and it remains one of my most memorable gigs ever.
I will never forget towards the end of the gig as they came back for the encore, a girl went up to the stage with a bouquet of flowers for him which he graciously accepted. As the girl was walking back to her seat B.B. had her called back to the stage, he went over to her and took one of his gold rings from his finger and gave it to her. A beautiful moment.
Long live the the music of B.B. King, Long live the memories.
R.I.P. B.B.King, your music will keep you alive in our hearts.

And when that little girl starts a-loving, she brings eyesight to the blind...

He was 89, brought pleasure to so many. That's a life well lived.

Sad to hear about BB King but I'm not looking forward to listening to Bono B@llocks's eulogies to come......

One of the true standout genre legends. You think Blues, and you think BB King.

Not much more that I can say in words that would do him justice.

You hear of players having 'signature licks'.

Well BB is the only guy I know who had what you might say was a signature note. That opening slide up to the B root note over the B minor chord on The Thrill is gone. Such vibrato. Such tone and emotion out of Lucille.

    In a single note.
